The Vegas entry is still on its’ way – but it’s overwhelming, maybe I’ll scale back what I plan to say…
Arlene and Judd came by for a visit Friday and wow – what a great time (we ended up at a little bar at the end of the street at one in the morning and had an absolute blast – we’ll definitely make it back there again!)! It’s definitely been way too long since we’ve gotten together (sadly the visits seem to be less and less lately) and it’s brought the realization that I need to not just let life go by – but I need to take the time to be with my friends! I haven’t seen Bran since August….Nicole since September….Jessica since…OMG. And the list goes on. But I must say that I’m trying to change my ways. When I realized that I could stop and visit Arlene for a night on my way to Bran’s, I jumped at the chance and am happy to say that I’ll be visiting on Thursday. I’m also going to a movie with my friend Meaghan tomorrow and have been getting together regularly for coffee with friends from Teacher’s College. Good start, I think.
Speaking of coffee, I could really use one right now.
It’s another beautiful day (in fact I’m outside writing this) and I really hope that the weather continues this way. It’s nice to be able to get outside and do things. Our yard and gardens have never looked better. Todd and I have been getting out on our bikes, which is nice – although I think that buying helmets might be a really good idea. My hand and wrist have been hurting a little from the weight on the handle bars, but not nearly as much as I thought.
