Again, I write. May 27, 2008

I’ve uploaded my Vegas pics into Flickr.  There’s a link at the bottom of my widgets if you’d like to take a peek.  You’ll notice that the rabbit decided to come on vacation with us again.  Tomorrow I’ll add a Vegas post – still deciding which of the pics (I don’t even have them all on Flickr – not enough space! Of course the better – or at least, the less incriminating – pictures are on Flickr) I’ll include in my post and give you the play-by-play on.

I just dropped by here because I realized when I was going over my blog that it has been one whole year since I visited Perez or TMZ or any of the other gossip rags that I was Obsessed with.  I’ve got to say, it’s been like a cleanse, although quite difficult not to visit some days.  I think that I’ve conquerred my obsession and I plan to revisit a few of my old friends – Perez and Harvey Levin anyway.  I’ll take it slow and remember that these people aren’t making my opinions for me.  We’ll see how it goes – hopefully I won’t have to ban myself for another year…

All Shiny and New! May 27, 2008

So what do you think of the new layout?  I thought it was time to start fresh and spiff things up a little.  It’s nice to see things all updated again.  I’ve changed a few colours and moved a few things around, and I must say I like my new little spot!  It makes me want to write on it…and isn’t that finally a good thing!  I certainly have more time right now to right a blog or two (and to get back to emails!  Imagine that!), but up until this minute I’ve been crazy busy!  I finished school a month ago and I think I’ve had one day where I wasn’t ridiculously booked doing something or other.  This morning I’ve already spent two hours on the job search (oh how I wish that I was looking for a job as a teacher and not some crappy position to have until the Board decides they finally would like to do some hiring) and organized my to-do list for the day and spent time (wow- an hour and a half already!) updating the ole bloggy-poo.  In a half hour I’m off to my Chiropractor and then to my RMT – except for my hand, I think I’m back to how I was before the accident.  The hand is much better too – in fact I’m done my hand therapy!  It’s not perfect and it’s still quite painful, but it’s a process and it’s getting better!!!

Time to eat some lunch (leftover pasta and shrimp, mmmm…) and then I’ll be back a little later – hopefully from the comfort of my sunny, but startlingly chilly, deck – to tell you (my adoring fans ;P) all about Vegas and to post some pics.

So I’m finished school.  Yay!  I actually finished 2 weeks ago.  Why haven’t I updated then?  Because I have been ridiculously busy!  Every day has been sooooo jam packed that I’m definitely getting sleep deprived.  However, now that the busyness is done, it’s time to relax a little…. kinda.  I’m having a whirlwind visit to my parents house right now and am finally getting a day to decompress.  Until tomorrow when I drive back to Windsor, finish a yard sale and then pack for Vegas. That’s right, Vegas baby!!!  We leave on Sunday for a week… I can’t wait!

Alright, I’m using a different laptop and it’s driving me nuts….gonna cut this entry short…
